At the NCAA Championships, Ezekiel Nathaniel ran a tactical race to finish third in the men's 400m Hurdles. Ezekiel Nathaniel of Nigeria was a standout performer for Baylor University at the NCAA Championships. Nathaniel earned his first individual 400m Hurdles medal in 48.54 seconds, the third-fastest performance of his career and the second-fastest this year.He improved from fourth place last season, earning him his first top-three podium result at the NCAA Championship. Ezekiel holds the Nigerian record in the event with a time of 48.42 seconds, and his fastest time of 48.52 seconds, set while earning silver at the BIG 12 Championships, has already qualified him for the World Championships in Budapest.The 19-year-old also helped his team finish sixth in the 4x400m relays in a time of 3:01.63.
