Deontay Wilder, the Edo Man, is expected to return in September

Deontay Wilder of Nigeria is preparing to return to the ring after an 11-month absence. Although Deontay Wilder's opponent is still unknown, a fight date is approaching. The former heavyweight champion from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, intimated in a recent interview that he will return to the ring in August or September. Wilder expressed his desire to return to the ring at a Professional Fighters League (PFL) battle event in Atlanta. He said, “It’s been a bit of a dilemma what path to take and what is available and what is not.  “There’s so many different things in the fight game. This business is, I always say, it’s one of the most difficult businesses around because it’s unstructured.  "It’s so many different directions business-wise. We gonna narrow it down. People should see me back, maybe, August, no later than September.”
