NBA PLAYOFFS Jimmy Butler denies feud with Nikola Jokic ahead of Game 1

Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler has stated that he and Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic have no difficulties ahead of their NBA Finals Game 1 confrontation. Last year, during a regular-season game between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat, Nikola Jokic shoved Markieff Morris, enraging Heat players including Jimmy Butler, who was then seen pointing to someone on the Nuggets' side of the court and screaming, "Let's fight in the back."The audience felt it was a message to Jokic, but Butler denied it. "I don't believe so. It doesn't seem to have much to do with anything. It has passed. But I'll clarify that I wasn't speaking to Jokic. "That wasn't my beef, so make no mistake about it." The individual who I was talking to definitely knew who I was talking to,” Butler said. On the court though, the Heat must find a way to contain the two-time MVP if they are to stand any chance of winning the championship.
