NCAA Thompson and Umukoro dominate the sprints at the NJCAA Championships

Miracle Thompson's indoor dominance was extended with sprint titles at the NJCAA Championships. Miracle Thompson won the 100m Hurdles with a new Personal Best (PB) of 13.31 seconds (-0.7 seconds), decreasing her previous best of 13.33 seconds set in the qualifying heat. Ese Awusa finished fifth in 13.95 seconds in the same event. Similarly, Success Umukoro won the 100m title in 11.37 seconds (1.1 seconds faster than Diandrenique Gaines in 11.53 seconds and Tijuanique Morton in 11.56 seconds). Umukoro was denied a double title by 0.003 seconds after achieving an identical time of 23.28s (1.8).
