D'Tigers to face Senegal, Uganda and Mali in Lagos

D'Tigers will compete in Group A. The D'Tigers will play Senegal, Uganda, and Mali in Lagos. The group stage of the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments is currently complete. The draw reveals that each of the 40 participant countries' initial route to Paris 2024 has been determined. Nations who do not qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2023 will have the opportunity to compete in the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments. The winner of each FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament will compete in one of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in July, with the goal of earning a spot in Paris 2024. The dedicated host nations will hold the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments from August 12 to 20. The FIBA World Men's Ranking were used to create seeding pots for the tournament draws.
