Sha'Carri Richardson inspires Botswana youths ahead of Golden Grand Prix

Sha'Carri Richardson will attend a Meet and Greet in the run-up to the Botswana Golden Grand Prix. Sha'Carri Richardson, the US sprints star, is in Botswana ahead of the Grand Prix on April 29th, but first had a meet & greet with the kids hosted by FNB Botswana.Richardson addressed the young people in attendance and encouraged them to be the best versions of themselves that they could be.Richardson, a world-class sprinter, owns the fastest 100m all-conditions time in the world this year, 10.57 seconds, and is also the third quickest in global history. Her Personal Best (PB) of 10.72s is the ninth quickest by a female sprinter, while her PB in the 200m is 22.00s. Richardson is visiting Africa for the first time, and she will compete in the 200m in the Grand Prix alongside some of the top sprinters in the world.Because the track is quick, the speedster will be aiming for a fast time and possibly breaking her personal best for the delight of the spectators.The Botswana Golden Grand Prix will include some of the best athletes in the world, including Nigeria's Ese Brume in the women's long jump, Africa's fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala in the men's 100m, multiple world medalist Andre De Grasse in the men's 200m, former Olympic Champion Kirani James in the men's 400m, and many more.
