NBA Seven months after the scandal Ime Udoka of Nigeria is the new head coach of the Houston Rockets

Ime Udoka of Nigeria has been hired as the new Houston Rockets Head Coach. Ime Udoka, a former head coach of the Boston Celtics, has a new job. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, he will become the coach of the Houston Rockets. Udoka's new job is his first in the league since his season-long suspension prompted him to part ways with the Celtics. After the Rockets released the 49-year-old earlier this month, Udoka will take Stephen Silas' spot in Houston. Silas as coach in three seasons for the Rockets went 59-177 during his tenure.  Just before the 2022–23 season, the Celtics suspended Udoka for violating the team's standards by having an intimate relationship with a female employee.
