Jake Paul and Nate Diaz promise bloodshed in their MMA/boxing crossover

Nate Diaz and Jake Paul are about to embark on a massive MMA/boxing crossover. Nate Diaz, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter, will make his boxing debut in August against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. Diaz, 37, who is regarded as one of the best boxers in mixed martial arts, has been heavily tipped to make the switch to the ring since leaving the UFC last year. He faced Conor McGregor twice: once in March 2016, when he was submitted in two rounds, and once five months later, when he was defeated by a majority decision. American Diaz is 21-13 in the UFC and most recently defeated Tony Ferguson via submission at UFC 279 in September.
