Fraser-Pryce will compete at the Kip Keino Classics in Kenya as confirmed

Returning to Nairobi, Kenya, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be prepared to compete in the Kip Keino Classics. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, a world champion, will compete in the Kip Keino Classics on May 13 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Jamaican will be visiting Africa for the second time this year after making her outdoor debut on April 29 at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix. She made her debut at the same meet in Nairobi last year, winning the women's 100-meter race in a lightning-quick 10.67 seconds. The 10.67-second time Fraser-Pryce ran to win the World title in Oregon was one of seven occasions during the previous season where she broke the 10.70-second barrier. This performance set a Championship Record (CR), making Fraser-Pryce the first person to win five World titles in a single individual running competition. She became the oldest World Champion in any individual track event when she won in Oregon, over fourteen years after winning her first international 100-meter title. She finished the competition with three medals after winning the 200-meter and 4x100-meter silver medals. She finished her season at the Diamond League final in Zurich where she won her fourth diamond trophy in a time that set a meeting record (MR) of 10.65 seconds. As she debuts for the season in Botswana and then moves on to Kenya, "Mother rocket," as she is affectionately known, will expect to experience the same luck this time around.
