The Lakers needed a win in front of a large crowd to help their late-season playoff push.The Bulls, who were also competing for a spot in the play-in tournament, were able to settle down early and build a three-point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Bulls' shooting guard Zach Lavine was on fire in the second quarter, helping them increase their lead to eight at halftime. In the third quarter as the Bulls extended their lead to 12 points, it was back and forth between the two teams.
