D'Angelo Russell of the Lakers has eclipsed a team record that was set during the 1994–1995 NBA season. D'Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers broke the team record for most 3-pointers made in a season on Friday night at Crypto Arena against the Philadelphia 76ers.The franchise record held by Nick Van Exel, which was in place since the 1994–1995 NBA season, was eclipsed by the 28-year-old guard.Russell has now spent two stints with the Lakers, having been picked by them in 2015. He still has the chance to break this record with more than ten games left in the season. After making six 3-pointers on Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks, he now has 183 this season, surpassing Kobe Bryant's 180 from the 2005–06 campaign.
