As Favour Ofili attends the African Record celebration in Boston, Tobi Amusan once again leaves her mark on history

At the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, Nigeria's sprint queens Tobi Amusan and Favour Ofili smashed the African Record in their respective events. Tobi Amusan, the current world record holder, is going to have a busy season after setting the African record for the 60-meter hurdles twice at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston. In the star-studded race won by Tia Jones, Amusan set a new Personal Best (PB) of 7.72 seconds in a lightning-fast 7.75 seconds to finish second. Former world leader Devynne Charlton finished third in 7.76 seconds.Despite not winning, the Nigerian hurdling queen's performance was outrightly impressive as it broke her previous AR of 7.77s set in her season opener last weekend, which is a strong warning to her rivals on her current form and intentions of having another iconic season at the Paris Olympic Games.
