Tobi Amusan: The WR holder's appeal with the AIU will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on January 19

Global 100mH On January 19, Tobi Amusan, the record holder, will learn her destiny as decided by the CAS. The fate of Tobi Amusan, the reigning Nigerian thrower, will be revealed on January 19. The date of the hearing for her complaint against the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has been set by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). When word leaked out that the 100-meter hurdles World Record (WR) holder had been provisionally disqualified for breaking the anti-doping rule by skipping three whereabouts tests, Amusan's complaint with the AIU was launched.Later, she will assert her innocence and bring the case before the Disciplinary Tribunal, where she will be exonerated of any wrongdoing and allowed to run again. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the AIU, however, will subsequently contest this ruling.
