The BAL Kwara Falcons are grateful for their BAL experience

On Monday, March 20, 2023, the Nigerian Premier Basketball League champions Kwara Falcons were defeated by Abidjan Basket Club (ABC) 79-78. Nigeria has yet to win their first game in the Sahara Division of the 2023 Basketball Africa League (BAL). Abidjan Basket Club took a four-point lead after scoring 23 points in the first quarter. Abidjan Basket Club dominated again in the fourth quarter, increasing their lead to eight points at the halftime break. After the break, the Kwara Falcons offense scored 21 points to cut the deficit in half. Both teams traded buckets in the fourth quarter and the Kwara Falcons were able to tie the game with a minute left.In the last minute, Kwara Falcons missed free throws and turned the ball over twice. 'I am grateful for the experience,' says Kadri after five losses at BAL.
