Noah Lyles selects his most cherished medal from his triple gold in Budapest

Noah Lyles, the fastest man in the world, ranked and selected his favorite medals from the Budapest World Championships. Noah Lyles, the men's track athlete of the year, chose the triple gold medals he won at the World Championships in Budapest as his favorite championship. The American sprinter took home three gold medals in the 100-, 200-, and 4x100-meter sprints, dominating the men's sprints in Budapest."This is challenging, as every one of them held great significance for me," Lyles stated in a World Athletics exclusive interview.“The 100m was important because I’ve always known that I’m the fastest man on the planet, but nobody would believe me unless I actually had the 100m title. I’d definitely say that has changed the way that people have viewed me a little bit, especially outside of the sport. Now it’s no longer ‘American record-holder Noah Lyles’, it’s ‘fastest man in the world Noah Lyles’, and that has changed their viewpoint," he added.
