Nigeria could be doomed as a result of WADA fines for not adhering to the anti-doping code

If Nigeria doesn't abide by the Anti-Doping Code by December 8, the country's sports could be subject to WADA sanctions. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) may impose fines on Nigerian sports if they violate the anti-doping code.Nigerian athletes face disqualification from the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as well as other international sporting events if they fail to comply with the World Anti-Doping Code by December 8.Additionally, WADA states that unless Nigeria complies, money for the Nigerian Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) will not be provided.
