After receiving an honorary doctor of laws degree from the University of Technology (UTECH) in Jamaica, world champion Shericka Jackson expressed her thanks.The World 100m silver medallist was one of three exceptional Jamaicans who received awards from UTech at its Papine Campus during its 2023 graduation ceremony."Yesterday was a really amazing and remarkable day. Having received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Utech, I am appreciative and thrilled. There are surprising benefits to be gained from working hard, enduring, being resilient, focused, and determined.It’s indeed a big moment.
