Udodi Onwuzurike has forfeited his last two years of NCAA eligibility in favor of joining the professional league of athletes. Nigerian sprinter Udodi Onwuzurike, who was born in the United States, has declared that he will turn pro after forgoing the final two years of his undergraduate scholarship at Stanford University.Using his social media accounts, the 20-year-old revealed his choice and the reasoning behind it, giving up the remaining years of his eligibility as a collegiate student-athlete."I will be forgoing the final two years of my undergraduate eligibility and turning professional after much prayer and consideration.My lifelong dream has come true, bringing both excitement and reflection with this fresh opportunity.
