US Olympic medalist Raven Saunders was given an 18-month drug test suspension

The newest banned athlete on USADA's list of unsolved doping cases is Raven Saunders. She is prohibited from competing in any sporting event until 2024. Due to a whereabouts violation (missing three doping tests in a year), Raven Saunders has agreed to an 18-month suspension from United S, which is retroactive to August 15, 2022. The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) announced that the woman who won the silver medal in the women's shot put at the Tokyo Olympics had accumulated three Whereabouts Failures in the previous 12 months: the first occurred on January 8, 2022, the second occurred on May 26, 2022, and the third occurred on August 15, 2022.
