Tobi Amusan: AIU seeks an appeal to overturn her tribunal victory because she won't give up

The athletics organization is still determined to bring down Nigerian sprinter Tobi Amusan. The Athletics Integrity Unit declared that it had appealed a judgment the Disciplinary Tribunal made on Nigeria's Tobi Amusan to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The athletic body kept its vow to contest the decision the Disciplinary Tribunal issued in the case in August by issuing a statement on X (formerly Twitter). "Last Friday (15 September 2023), the AIU filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the Disciplinary Tribunal's ruling that Tobi Amusan did not violate an anti-doping rule for Whereabouts Failures, which was made on August 17, 2023. The AIU won't comment further on the situation until it's resolved.
