Ruth Usoro dominates the long jump competition to earn Italy's first professional victory

The long jumper from Nigeria dominated her debut professional competition in Italy. Ruth Usoro, a gifted long jumper, won her first competition as a professional at the Meeting Citta' Di Padova in Italy. Usoro outran the competition by leaping an amazing 6.75 meters (0.1) in the air. Neja Filipic of Croatia came in second with a distance of 6.18 meters.Any of the five legitimate jumps that the Nigerian long and triple jump prodigy could have made would have been sufficient to win.
