Ogun is confident in his ability to host world-class events after winning the National Sports Festival

In 2024, Ogun State will host the 22nd National Sports Festival. Ahead of the 22nd National Sports Festival in Ogun State, the state has disclosed plans to hold a World Class event. Dr. Yusuf Qudus, the state Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youths and Sports, revealed this on Wednesday during a courtesy visit by the newly elected executives of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun state chapter.Yusuf stated that the organization is a partner that will assist the state in expanding sports in the state and that attempts are being made to identify the best athletes to represent the state in the biennial event. He reported that the state administration had sent a scouting team to the area.
