Why is LeBron James switching from number 6 to number 23?
This season, LeBron James will change his Lakers jersey number from 6 to 23. The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday that NBA superstar LeBron James will once again wear jersey number 23. James has worn the No. 6 jersey for the Lakers the last two seasons. In 14 of his 20 NBA seasons, James has worn the No. 23 jersey.
