Nigeria is going to miss the World University Games due to a lack of finance

75 student-athletes from 22 universities were chosen to represent Nigeria in seven different sports disciplines. The Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) has requested aid, fearing that the country will be unable to attend the World University Games in Chengdu, China. According to Pulse Sports, the Games, which bring together the top student-athletes from around the world, are set to take place from July 28 to August 8.75 student-athletes were selected from 22 universities to represent Nigeria in seven different sports disciplines.
