Tobi Amusan: World Record holder set for double heavyweight tests in Ostrava and Lausanne

Tobi Amusan will face difficult competition this week at the Golden Spikes Meet in Ostrava and the Lausanne Diamond League. Tobi Amusan, the world record holder, will compete against the world's best hurdlers at the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava and the Diamond League in Lausanne. Amusan will compete in the first race on Tuesday, June 27th, in Ostrava, among heavyweights such as Olympic winner Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, former world champion Nia Ali, and US phenom Tia Jones.Then, on Friday, June 30th, she will begin her Diamond League campaign in Lausanne. Camacho-Quinn, Ali, Jones, and Alaysha Johnson, one of the top hurdlers this season. The reigning world champion will be gunning to build on her win at the Racers Grand Prix in Jamaica three weeks ago, where she won in a convincing Season's Best (SB) of 12.57s.Also, she will be aiming for revenge against these women who have handed her consecutive losses this season. And with her injury woes behind her, Amusan has got pundits convinced that she's back to form in preparation to defend her world title in Budapest.
