NBA Bradley Beal traded to Phoenix Suns, forms 'Big 3' with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker

Following his trade to the Phoenix Suns, Bradley Beal has formed a Big 3 with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. After years of speculation, the Washington Wizards have officially transferred All-Star player Bradley Beal. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards will trade for Beal and transfer him to the Phoenix Suns. The Wizards will receive Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, many second-round picks, and pick swaps in the transaction, according to the source. The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly interested in reconciling with the 38-year-old, thus the Washington Wizards are expected to relocate Paul as part of a trade. In Phoenix, Beal will join Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and DeAndre Ayton. With the new Collective Bargaining Agreement aiming to severely limit roster flexibility for teams above the second luxury tax apron ($117 million), this is Phoenix's all-in move for a championship. The deal was made about a year after the Wizards' $251 million, five-year extension of Beal's contract, which contained a no-trade clause that he had to waive to join Phoenix, was finalized. Beal's 11-year tenure in Washington is coming to an end, but despite the challenging transition, he still has four years and more than $200 million left on his contract.
