Seye Ogunlewe returns to Nigeria's elite sprinting ranks with a time of 10.04 seconds

Nigeria is now second only to the United States in terms of the number of fastest sprinters in the world this year, with Seye Ogunlewe joining the list. Seye Ogunlewe, former Nigeria's fastest man, rocketed back to prominence in the discourse of Nigeria's greatest sprinters this season after posting a tremendous Personal greatest (PB) of 10.04s. Ogunlewe finished second against Great Britain's Eugene Amo-Dadzie, who won the men's 100m at the Horst Mandl Memorial in Graz with a remarkable PB and European Lead of 9.93s (0.1).The Nigerian speedster has been a consistent performer this season, competing at various meets in Europe and dropping 10.2s range in all his races. With his new 10.04s, Ogunlewe showed he is in fantastic shape this year and has what it takes to hit the World Championships qualifying standard of 10.00s.He is also back as one of the contenders for the Nigerian title this year and making the team to Budapest.
