Bello revealed that her estranged spouse, Mr Akinrimisi, lived in the United States, which caused substantial difficulties in their marriage. Constantly switching between nations strained their relationship, causing her to make the tough decision to seek a divorce. While conceding that her ex-husband was a loving father to their children, the actress voiced a wish for more in her personal life. She recognised that pursuing her ambitions meant making sacrifices, but the physical distance between them proved insurmountable.
