For the first time since losing the election, Bankole Wellington, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Eti Osa Federal House of Representatives seat, also known by his stage handle "Banky W," has made a statement. Banky W shared a video of himself at a church service on Sunday in which he expressed his profound disappointment at the outcome of the election. In the video, the singer said that in anticipation of his success, he had made numerous arrangements, such as setting up a Sunday thanksgiving celebration and looking for an apartment and office in Abuja. Even though it's common to feel hurt in such situations, Banky W claimed that his faith in God has strengthened him despite his sorrow.
