US paparazzi pursue Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a two-hour automobile chase

According to the NYPD, the chase resulted in several near-collisions with other automobiles on the route.Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement, every element of their lives has been extensively covered in the media.Sky News claimed on May 17, 2023, that the couple and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, were involved in a near-catastrophic automobile pursuit with photographers in New York. The chase lasted over two hours, according to the New York Police Department, and resulted in many near-collisions involving other automobiles on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers. The chase occurred after Prince Harry and Meghan attended an awards event at New York's Ziegfeld Ballroom on Tuesday which is their first public appearance since the recent coronation of King Charles III. News reports stated that the couple was chased by up to six blacked-out vehicles driven by unidentified people. Reports also stated that the vehicles were driven on pavements, jumped red lights, and reversed down a one-way street during the chase.
