Nigerian music superstar Davido has said that while creating his new album, he over-recorded music.Davido released his fourth album, "Timeless," on March 31, 2023. The megastar whose music has dominated Afrobeats for the past ten years took a rare time of stillness before releasing the much awaited album.Davido stated to CNN that he recorded roughly 62 songs in order to get ready for his next album. I had to choose from 62 songs for 'Timeless'. The tracks were initially reduced to 20, then to 17 and 18, the hitmaker tells CNN's African Voices. Davido also narrated that the process of picking the songs that made the album was quite painstaking as there was a large pool of great songs to choose from."It's the hardest process.
