Bisola Aiyeola and Adjetey Anang will host the announcement of the 2023 AMVCA nominees

Bisola Aiyeola of Nigeria and Adjetey Anang of Ghana have been announced as the hosts of the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards nominees announcement. For the better part of a decade, the AMVCA has recognized excellence in African filmmaking, and the award ceremony will be held for the ninth time this year. Stakeholders the nominees for the 2023 awards will be announced on April 16, 2023, at an event that will be broadcasted across all Africa Magic Channels on DStv and GOtv at 7 PM WAT. All categories will be announced by movie stars, with the exception of the MNET original category, which will be presented by two child actors, Jasmine Olarotimi and Nifemi Lawal, who also appear in Africa Magic Original telenovelas, The Johnsons and Ajoche. The ninth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards is a 3-day event with the award show scheduled for the 20th of May with a live broadcast across all Africa Magic Channels on DStv and GOtv.
