Singer Portable has been released from police custody

Portable, a Nigerian singer, has been granted bail by a court in Ogun State's Ifo local government area. Yesterday, April 3, 2023, the singer was arraigned in court on a six-count charge bordering on assault and theft of someone's musical equipment. He was granted bail in the amount of N300,000 with two N300,000 sureties. The court ruled that both sureties must own land near the court. Portable will be held at the Ilaro Correctional Centre until he meets the bail condition, according to the judge, who adjourned the case until April 26. Shortly after the court ruling, new photos of the singer were posted on his Instagram page, along with a caption thanking God. He captioned the photos, "Alhamdulilahi."
