Portable will be prosecuted by the police for insulting officers

The police department stated that it will not tolerate any unruly behavior, assault, or attack on its officers while they are on duty. The Nigeria Police Force has announced that it will prosecute a musician, Habeeb Okikiola (AKA Portable), for allegedly acting irrationally and insulting police officers on duty. CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Spokesperson, confirmed this in a statement on Wednesday. Adejobi chastised the musician for the viral video in which he was seen acting irrationally and insulting police officers carrying out their legal duties. He claimed that his actions were criminal and punishable under Nigerian law. Adejobi stated that members of the public must respect law enforcement officers who are constantly risking their lives to maintain law and order and combat crime and criminality in our society.
