Blackface has accused Wizkid, Olamide, and other musicians of stealing his tunes

Blackface, a Nigerian singer, has accused other Nigerian musicians of stealing some of his tracks.Blackface is a member of the renowned Afrobeats trio Platainshun Boiz, together with 2Baba FKA 2Face and Faze, whose music helped shape the genre in its formative years.Blackface, actual name Augustine Ahmedu, engaged in a legal dispute with 2Baba about ownership of the hit song "African Queen," which he claims he wrote while Plantainshum Boiz was still together, after the group broke up.Blackface has asserted that he was the author of the majority of the boy band's hit singles, while the other band members have consistently refuted this. His former bandmates aren't the only ones whom Blackface has accused of illegally sampling, interpolating, and copying his music. He has pointed fingers at some of Nigeria's biggest stars whom he accuses of intellectual theft in what has become a recurring claim.
