2023 Trace Awards: Davido, Rema, and Burna Boy Win

Nigerian performers excel at the first Trace awards ceremony.For the first Trace awards, musicians, executives, media celebrities, stakeholders, and fans from all around the world gathered in Rwanda.On October 21, 2023, in Rwanda, the award ceremony honoring the company's 20th anniversary was held. Nigerian music icons Davido, Yemi Alade, and ODUDMODUBLVCK all gave performances. Davido, whose fourth album broke all previous records, "Timeless," was named the Best African Male. With his number-one single "Calm Down," Rema received Song of the Year, and Burna Boy's sixth album, "Love, Damini," took home Album of the Year honors.
