In Ibadan, radio stations Beat 97.9 and NaijaFM are currently shut down

Beat 97.9 and NaijaFM are no longer broadcasting in Ibadan.Two of Megalectrics' stations, Beat 97.9FM and Naija FM 102.7FM, will temporarily cease broadcasting, according to the renowned Nigerian broadcasting business.The corporation announced this in a press release dated October 2, 2023, attributing its choice to the current state of the economy. In the statement, it was said that the closure would only be a temporary measure while the services were restructured, recovered, and re-strategize.
