After years of conflict, comedian Basketmouth apologizes to colleague AY Makun

For more than ten years, the two comedians have had a tense relationship.The renowned Nigerian comic Basketmouth, also known as Bright Okpocha, is prepared to make amends with everyone he has insulted, including AY Makun.On Monday, October 2, 2023, the comedian apologized to those he had insulted in one way or another in a video posted on his Instagram account. He then explicitly apologized to AY Makun, another comic, and begged for forgiveness. Additionally, Basketmouth stated that he has also pardoned him for his offenses against him. He said, "To my guy AY I don't know if my apology is still valid right now but if it is please forgive me for whatever I have done or said in the past that affected you in any way please forgive me. And I want you to know that I have forgiven you for whatever you did or said knowingly or unknowingly, it's gone and I just want us to live in peace and harmony."
