I had received a #50,000 offer to produce a movie, says Pete Edochie

The Nollywood legend was inspired by this salary to switch from broadcasting to acting.One of Pete Edochie's initial salaries for a film role has been made public.The veteran claimed to have received a #50,000 offer for his first acting role in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo. The Nollywood legend recalled, "I was sitting there with her in the parlour when somebody from Lagos came to give me a check for #50,000 to make a film." He had recently lost his broadcasting position owing to religious disagreements and internal problems, which he did not go into detail about during the conversation, so it was fortunate for him that the paycheck arrived at the appropriate time.
