Attack on Portable and his artist while shopping for clothes in Lekki

After being attacked in Lekki, Nigerian street pop sensation Portable is making headlines again.With his music, fashion, and pranks earning him recognition and success, Portable, known for his numerous troubleshooting escapades, has become a household figure.In yet another unfortunate incident, on August 8, 2023, Portable and his group were attacked in Lekki while out shopping. In a video posted to his Instagram story, Portable claims that while in Lekki looking for clothing for his artist Yung Duu, he and his artist were attacked by thugs, leaving the artist with facial injuries. According to Portable, the youngsters approached him when he was out shopping and demanded money under the pretense that they were admirers. After he failed to give them money, the boys revealed that they're cultists and today August 8 marked their 8/8 celebrations before harassing him.
