IWD: Mercy Johnson spends an exclusive day with nurses

A number of nurses and a well-known actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, observed International Women's Day in a rural area. Along with millions of other women throughout the world, she took part in the observance of the day set aside as a focal point in the battle for women's rights, bringing attention to issues like gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. She posted a video of her visit to a hospital, where numerous nurses encircled her and gave her a warm welcome. The young ladies chatted with the mother of four, laughed together, and smiled for a few pictures while doing so. She emphasized the importance of nursing to the neighborhood. "We are women....
