Tottenham suffer last minute defeat against Liverpool as Champions League spot fades away

Liverpool wins a crucial match against Tottenham at Anfield, moving them into fifth place and eight points behind Manchester United in fourth place. Tottenham were aiming to build on their inspiring comeback against Manchester United earlier in the week, but they were stunned by Liverpool at Anfield, losing 4-3 and falling to fifth place.Tottenham were swamped by Liverpool at Anfield thanks to three first-half goals from Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah. They did, however, score at the conclusion of the first half thanks to a fantastic strike from Harry Kane. Tottenham attempted a comeback in the second half, but Liverpool were too strong. Heung-min Son scored the second goal for Tottenham in the second half and Richarlison who came in as a substitute scored the equaliser for Spurs but Liverpool got the winner with an injury-time goal from Diogo Jota
