Napoli's victory over Lecce proves they can function without Osimhen

Napoli defeated Lecce on Friday night in a hard-fought match to go momentarily ahead of rivals Lazio and AC Milan by 19 points with two games remaining. The victory came despite the absence of Osimhen after a challenging trip to Lecce, which was settled by an absurd own goal. Victor Osimhen of the Super Eagles was absent from Napoli for the second straight game, but unlike their dismal performance against Milan, in which they were destroyed 4-0, Napoli fared much better against Lecce, winning 2-1 owing to a mistake by Wladimiro Falcone in the 64th minute. The win moves Napoli a step closer to the Scudetto, while pushing Lecce towards the relegation zone after I Lupi recorded their fifth loss in a row.
