France survives a late storm to defeat Ireland

France is now two for two in European qualifying after a narrow victory over Ireland. France were not as dominant as they had hoped, but they held off Ireland 1-0 despite a late scare. Following an outstanding performance against the Netherlands, France traveled to Ireland to face the Boys in Green. They weren't quite as fluid and ruthless as they were against the Dutch, but they got the job done and won their second game in a row.
