After 'unexpected and unfair' Sacking, Mourinho criticizes the Roma owners, saying they 'know little about football'

When Roma's senior management chose to fire him earlier in the season, the renowned Portuguese manager did not mince words. Following his sudden departure from Roma, the well-known Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho publicly questioned the ability of the club's owners to make decisions, calling his firing "unexpected and unfair." After a disastrous 3-1 loss to Milan, the 61-year-old's time with the Giallorossi came to an end on January 16th, putting Roma in seventh place in the league standings. Daniele De Rossi, a former Roma midfielder, took over as manager after his departure on a six-month contract.
