Newcastle United will be penalized for breaking UEFA rules

Prior to their Champions League match, Newcastle United arrived late in Milan, breaking UEFA rules. Prior to their first Champions League match in 20 years, Premier League team Newcastle were alleged to have violated UEFA rules. The Tyneside club is scheduled to compete in the UCL group stage for the first time since the 2002–2003 season, and even before they took the field against Milan, they were accused of violating a UEFA rule.
