Entrepreneurs eager to hear from Buhari Emefiele on currency policy

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja's business owners said they are eager to hear from President Muhammadu Buhari and/or the Central Bank over the legality of old Naira notes. The business owners responded to the Supreme Court's decision that the old N500 and N1000 notes were still valid until December 31. Yet, they claimed it was dangerous to accept the notes prior to direction from the CBN or the Presidency. They claimed that the uproar that followed a similar Supreme Court ruling that was disregarded was what ultimately led to their conclusion.
