Germany to make provisions for 250,000 jobs for Kenyan

According to Kenyan President William Ruto, an agreement between Kenya and Germany is in the works, and Berlin may welcome Kenyans to fill some of the 250,000 empty positions in order to help the European country's tremendous labor need.Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany and Kenyan President William Ruto relayed the news during a joint press conference from the State House in Nairobi. The agreement states that the European country will accept more professionals, skilled employees, and semi-skilled Kenyans. In order to make this possible, Nairobi wants Berlin to reconsider and remove immigration regulations so that Kenyans can work in Germany. They also agreed to establish a framework for connecting Kenyan technical and vocational training (TVET) colleges with selected TVET colleges in Germany. Kenya also requested Germany to help its efforts to complete negotiations on the East African Community-European Union Economic Partnership Agreement. The two presidents also agreed on the importance of global cooperation to alleviate the impacts of climate change.
