Poly Business School to become innovation, ICT hub for Nigerians

The executive director also stated that the school's academic activities would commence in May with chosen courses.According to Roland Ediawe, Executive Director of the Enugu State Polytechnic, the newly launched ESPOLY Business and Innovation School would become an innovation and Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre for Nigerians.Previously, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Rev. Fr. Nnamdi Nwankwo, stated that polytechnics are meant to train skilled and technical professionals, and as such, every polytechnic should have business schools. He stated that the school was critical to the survival of their polytechnic, which was built directly on skill acquisition. "With this, Enugu State will have complete skill acquisition for the state's development." “Mr Ediawe brought the idea and we accepted it with memorandum of understanding in partnership with the school. “We will issue them certificate while the school will provide the skill,” the rector said. He added that the graduates of the school would bear the certificate of Enugu State Polytechnic, while “our partner will impact them with the required knowledge”.
