As the new MD/CEO of Heritage Bank, CBN has approved George-Taylor

With CBN approval, Akinola George-Taylor would succeed Ifie Sekibo as MD/CEO. Akinola George-Taylor has been named the bank's actual Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors of Heritage Bank. This was said in a statement released by the bank's Group Head of Corporate Communications, Ozena Utulu, on Sunday. According to the announcement, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) issued a letter of support for his appointment on March 31. After receiving CBN permission, Akinola George-Taylor, who joined Heritage Bank on September 12, 2022, as acting MD/CEO, would succeed Ifie Sekibo as MD/CEO. He will be responsible for managing Heritage Bank's operations throughout Nigeria and putting the lender's next phase of change into action, it said.
